Superior Balance - Stability Ball Level 4

Increase challenge to strength, balance and stability by applying Intermediate Reformer exercises to the Stability Ball™. With this workshop, developed by the MERRITHEW™ team, you will learn how to mimic the exercise essence including muscular emphasis, breath and movement patterns, stabilization and mobilization. Built to give clients and classes alike a complete-body workout, learn how cues and corrections can increase safety and effectiveness for everyone.

Learning Objectives

  1. Apply STOTT PILATES® Five Basic Principles to specific Stability Ball exercises.
  2. Understand movement essence and exercise goals when transferring exercises to the Stability Ball.
  3. Develop core strength and balance with the unstable nature of the Stability Ball.
  4. Understand how to challenge stability and mobility safely and effectively.
