How many classes should I do every week?

This is a very personal thing. How often you train will depend on your fitness level, how your body adapts to the training and how well your body can recover. It also depends on your goals and what you do outside Real Pilates. We recommend starting with two to three classes per week before increasing it to more like some of our most loyal and dedicated members who work out five to six times a week, sometimes twice a day!

Can I book my workout online?

Yes, we have a very user-friendly online booking system called MINDBODY. You can access it through a browser or by downloading our free App. If you have a valid package with us, you can make new bookings, change or cancel existing ones and much more! If not, you will need to Buy Packages first and then you'll be set!

I'm running late; can I still join the class?

Unfortunately, no. All of our classes include a warm up, so if you're more than 5 minutes late to your class, even if you call us to inform us, you will not be able to join. We reserve the right to give your spot to those in the studio on the waitlist.

I booked a class but I can't make it. Do I get a refund?

Unfortunately, no. We have a strict 6-hour cancellation policy for group classes and a 24-hour cancellation policy for private and semi-private sessions. If you can’t make your class, it is your responsibility to cancel it on the app/online, or let us know at least 6 hours (for group classes) or 24 hours (for private and semi-private sessions) before the start time or you will lose the session. We understand that life can sometimes get in the way - traffic, parking delays, kids, work meetings, etc. - are all realities, but we need to be strict and fair to all clients.

The class I want is full! What can I do?

Our classes are popular and can often get full. With our 6-hour cancellation policy, changes happen and spaces can open up. We recommend you add yourself to the waitlist by booking yourself into the class. Should a place become available you will receive an email confirming that you have been added to the class!

I'm going away, can I freeze my package?

If you have purchased a package and will be unable to attend your sessions, you will be able to freeze it, once per calendar year, for up to 3 months from the date you ask for the suspension. A freeze will be granted to those who will not be able to train due to an illness, injury, major life change etc. All freeze request approvals will be at the management's discretion.

When can I start more advanced classes?

When starting at Real Pilates, we ask that you attend at least 5-10 Core classes to familiarise yourself with the STOTT PILATES training method, basic principles and exercises before proceeding to more challenging classes such as Pilates Flow, Reformer Flow or Cardio Reformer. We encourage you to ask your instructor after completing your class. They’ll know if you’re ready to move into a higher level workout.
